The Pillar of Tongzhou Canal
Highlights of the Project
1. A Perfect Integration of Culture and Technology: Inspired by the Tongzhou Lighthouse Pagoda on the canal bank, the Pillar of Tongzhou Canal was designed in the shape of a nine-story tower, with each story equipped with MINVOL’s P20 flexible video glass.
2. Recreating Historical Features with Modern Technology: Utilizing industry-leading flexible display technology, we customize large, irregular screens that transcend the limitations of traditional screen shapes, seamlessly integrating the display into the tower's design.
3. A Blend of Intelligence and Environmental Protection: The integrated control system enables remote monitoring and management, while its low power consumption ensures energy efficiency.
Challenges and Innovations
1. Irregular shapes and narrow spaces: through 3D modeling and fine management, the videos glass has been successfully installed on the Pillar.
2. Modular Design Aligned with Construction Progress: We shortened the project timeline by dividing the complex process into multiple modules that could be managed individually, ensuring high project quality.
Social Influence and Commercial Value:
1. Cultural Inheritance and Innovation: As a cultural landmark, the Pillar has attracted a significant number of tourists, enhancing the park's image and cultural value.
2. Economic Benefits: The high durability and low maintenance costs not only provide customers with long-term returns on investment but also strengthen MINVOL’s leading position in the high-end display market.
